3D Printed Quarter Crack Patch

Application Instructions The 3D printed quarter crack patch is designed and sold in pairs and can be applied to either the inside or outside of both hooves. The small ridges on the patch should be positioned against the hoof. These ridges help create a consistent gap, allowing the acrylic adhesive to properly bond. Application: 1. Prepare the hoof by cleaning and drying the area thoroughly. 2. Apply acrylic adhesive to either the patch or directly onto the crack area. Suitable products include Equilox, Hooflox, or low-odor 3D glue. 3. Position the patch over the crack. 4. Hold the patch in place using plastic wrap until the adhesive has fully cured. Important Notes: * If sensitive tissue is exposed, use an impression material as a barrier within the crack before applying the patch. * If bleeding is present, create a drain using a small plastic straw or tubing placed beneath the impression material. This allows the wound to be flushed as needed during healing.
